The essential plug-in moisture analyser for crude oil utilizes the detective technology of electromagnetic phase shift to measure the dielectric constant of crude oil, then calculate moisture content of crude oil according to the value of the overall dielectric constant.

The sensor is developed with high-frequency electromagnetic resonant cavity, which features centered energy of electromagnetic wave and reliable signals.
